We launched AEHRA this past Thursday. Launches are always fun for me, as it is not the end, but the start of what comes next. A launch means media. Lots and lots of media. And we sure got it.
 
…and many more. So many more, especially in car crazy Italy. Having now been in Milan for a few weeks it’s amazing how passionate about automobiles the Italians are. And I thought people in Silicon Valley were religious about their technology companies. That’s nothing compared to the interest in cars like it is here, in what is called Motor Valley.
The media coverage in Italy was insane. This is as of today for the past week in Italy. We also caused such a stir in Germany that Automobilwoch did a follow up with AEHRA CEO and Co-Founder, Hazim Nada as the Thursday launch story was the most clicked on news item of the day. Social media wasn’t quiet either. The AEHRA twitter ID is awash with link love and social sharing. Our evolving Instagram feed is also getting some traction. Most of all, the signup page for the AEHRA newsletter has been seeing raging interest after just three days of being active.
What was rewarding most of all, was how the team of PR and communications professionals across three countries and four agencies all came together.
Oh, and am I having fun? You bet. I haven’t had this much fun since May 19, 1974, the day The Philadelphia Flyers won their first Stanley Cup, and my lacrosse team, The Philadelphia Wings debuted at The Spectrum. That day, at age 14, I got to ask the Bruins to leave their locker room, as the Wings players needed it to dress that day.
