THE ANDY ANALYSIS-ADAS level 5 is still in its infancy, and while some car manufacturers like TESLA are doing their own thing, for now, the standards that are being put in place will ultimately be what everyone has to follow. TESLA with their own software and approaches are pushing the envelopes and long term for the good, but states like California have to take steps to protect their citizens, however they can. By going the “marketing” route they are starting to tighten the noose, as the technology path would be a harder road to travel.
